The CDC program for CFS has been a lightning-rod for criticism from the patient and at time the professional community.

The CDC’s CFS program researches chronic fatigue syndrome, provides advice on treatment and does physician education. Now lead by Dr. Unger, Dr. Reeves lead the program for many years until his removal in 2010.
