    Special Needs Trust

It's a little different if you set one up for yourself which is considered a 1st party SNT as opposed to someone setting one up for you which is a 3rd party SNT. It can get complicated and I'm almost tempted to talk to a lawyer about it but then I'd have to use my credit card which I try to use...

Comment by 'Tammy' in 'Not Exactly an Emergency / The Beat Heat Manifesto'

Yes it is and what I refer to as 'just the right temps' are making me reminiscent of growing up in California. And what is strange is the last few days I swear I can smell the ocean and I even feel mist on my cheeks. (This past Saturday the ocean scent was strongest). This isn't the first...

Gone non verbal for a while

Gandhiji devoted every Monday to silence. He wouldn't talk to anyone on that day. He would only write a note if there was an absolute need that came up.

Hey Howard, I'm sure you have thought about these things when you go out. A spray bottle and umbrella? Or is it too bothersome to bring things on your outings? Or get your shirt wet before going out.

    Comment by 'Tammy' in 'Smells'

I absolutely can't stand artificial smells. I can tell when a certain neighbor has been in my local vicinity due to all the chemicals they have been doused in. This neighbor uses those chemical air fresheners that spray out chemicals every few minutes plus countless other fragrance devices and...

    Covid Vaccine be a culprit?

I ran into a friend yesterday that I hadn't seen in awhile. She told me her health has been worse since after she got the covid vaccine and it's been that way for almost 2 yrs.

Dose Lysine increase or lower methylation?

I wouldn't think it messes with methylation. Bottom line with any supplement is that we have no idea if we will be sensitive to it until we try it. I take it almost every day for its anti-viral properties. Always wise when starting something new to begin with low dose.

What is coming out of a crash like? Or Bipolar?

I've heard other members mentioning with little sleep they felt more energetic the next day. The only predictable thing about this illness is how unpredictable it can be and sometimes there's just no way of making heads or tails of it.

Managing the balance between the parasympathetic and the sympathetic nervous systems going into overdrive

It is a possibility that there are now too many supplements given to reduce sympathetic overactivity or maybe the dosage for some should be adjusted especially with the prescription meds. Also, try not to let too much time lapse between getting in some kind of healthy snack for you partner...

How to deal with crashing after doing lightning process, Mickel therapy etc?

Yes, that is a situation that can happen but that's not what I'm eluding to. You're describing a situation where the physical can affect the physical. I'm referring to the mental affecting the physical. As Cfs2019 mentioned, he said it felt a bit like a switch in the brain being turned off. I...

How to deal with crashing after doing lightning process, Mickel therapy etc?

Yes, it's a relief for sure. So what is your theory on how that sense of relief led to temporary relief of physical symptoms? (Just to be clear I'm not inferring that there isn't a physical root cause of this disease.)

How to deal with crashing after doing lightning process, Mickel therapy etc?

@Cfs2019...............I actually find it very interesting that the brief relief of mindset also gave you relief of physical symptoms even if it was a short period of time. This is very telling to me.

How to deal with crashing after doing lightning process, Mickel therapy etc?

Could you clarify? You mentioned it was a big relief for you to hear that and you felt great for a short time. Do you mean simply hearing the explanation gave you relief mentally perhaps that you had discovered an important piece of the puzzle and therefore because of that mental relief your...

    Horrible reaction to b12 cyanocobalamin

Should you ever decide to try B12 again, I would purchase methylcobalamin with adonsylcobalamin and preferably a liquid. That way you can carefully adjust the dosage.

    Left side feeling

Unfortunately, these tests really can't determine how much B12 is in your CNS.

Which drugs for the central nervous system

Methyl-folate is another good supplement for the CNS. Some people are very sensitive to both B12 and methyl-folate when they start taking it. I had to start with a low dosage of both and work up.

Which drugs for the central nervous system

Vimergy, Global Healing, Biophoton. I like Vimergy the best but I think it's the most expensive.
  26. Tammy

Which drugs for the central nervous system

B12 for one. Methylcobalamin is the preferred form. I like adenosylcobalamin also in the mix.

Doctor visit blues…don’t know what to do

I don't think it's the answer either. Not even close.........and it could cause harm. I think your instincts are right on and you are not failing your son. Also, don't let the Dr. intimidate you if you decide not to follow his suggestion. You are your son's best advocate.............not the...
