This is another headline about the same research:

FYI, these articles relate to the research discussed in this thread:

The headline in this recent article is "
Not just lazy: Chronic fatigue is real, new brain scans show"

I doubt the author meant how it can read but "Not just lazy" is poor phrasing. So we're not just sick but we're sick and lazy. Yikes.

These sorts of things are very annoying!
fwiw - Media headlines are rarely under the control of the author. (They are generally written by the editor.)

yeah gotta keep up the bullcrap "party line"!
because, lot of folk may be sued for huge amounts over the treatment of us.
Possibly criminal cases.
So, they keep throwing psychological Fear Uncertainty Doubt into it.

media is a sick, evil "1984" con job.
they phone their buddies who "know about science", but are shills for the corporations involved in science, huge difference
or they are told what line to play on each subject form Afghanistan war to petrol prices.

Yes, it's so annoying. One day there will be a breakthrough that casts aside much more of the doubt after which we'll start to see a change in how these things are pitched.
