@SDSue I started on the GAPS Intro Diet. Lot's of sulfur and histamine foods. Developed ever-worsening facial eczema, like rosacea. When I was prepping for a histamine urine test, had to stop all histamines. Face cleared 50% overnight. When I eliminated the sulfur, the rest cleared just as fast. So the pathway forward was clear. I certainly didn't understand the causes at that time, nor that this was likely (?) to be a life-time ban. don't know, some people are able to put some things back in.
I now know that I was so intolerant to so many things prior to eliminating gluten, that there was no way of knowing. Things just were the way they were: congested, itching, brain buzzing. I don't eat forbidden foods. The one thing I can say is that I'm also intolerant to iodine, Hashimoto's. But these days body wants it occasionally. If it's 2 days in a row, I start to get the typical outbreak, rash on elbows.
If bone broth is too much, make the broth w/ a piece of meat instead. Bones give off a lot of minerals. I no longer put the recommended vinegar into it, as that's just too much for me.
