Here is the response I received today from Jane at Stanford, with her permission to repost:
The testing for the study is ongoing. We are doing 3 types of pathogen tests
as well as multiple immunology tests and gene expression tests. We don't
have results as yet. When we do we will contact you. I know it's been a long
time, but I think we are finding out some things about the disease that will
help in the long run. Thank you for your participation.

Someone said they sent the samples to Columbia University to be sampled. I think I would have some reservations about the validity of a sample the is over 3 years old. Hopefully soon!
