My mom's church has a quilt ministry where the make quilts for sick and injured folks. As they make the quilt they regularly pray for the individual. They also tie a knot (little black thread) into the quilt and the person tying the knot says a prayer for the person as well.
I received their 101st quilt the other day. It means so much to know that worked so hard and prayed for me all the way through and I have a constant reminder of it.
